My Name Is John Paul Jones II, I Am 17 years old and I'm a senior at SMSA. Ever since I was little I never truly knew what I wanted to be or do in life, But just recently I found something that I truly enjoy and want to make a career out of. When I first got into my sports journalism class I thought it would just be a nice class about sports to pass the time. Since i've always had a love for sports like football, I found out that I really enjoy writing about them, This led me to want to pursue a career in athletic Journalism. I've never liked school, and I am incredibly lazy. For the most part, other than video games, Or the New York Giants, I wasn't interested in anything. I do enjoy donating my time doing work for events like Dream ride, or just helping out at my local church. I've always been very close with my family. They have always taught me that your family and friends should be the most important things in my life. I cherish each and everyone of them, and I'll always be there to help them when they need it
My Mission Statement
I want to be able to help students who are about to make the leap from middle school to high school. I admit, when I started high school I didn't take it seriously at all, and because of this I fell behind very fast. I want to go out and help students be ready and prepared for when they go to high school so they do not struggle like I myself did.
What I do
I do my capstone at John F. Kennedy middle school in Southington CT. Where I help in classrooms and work with kids 1 on 1, and also create lesson plans for the class to help them better understand what they are learning.
